I came here with a group of 8 people from CU Boulder (they were in town visiting and wanted to try a great restaurant). ;-) We had cocktails first (mine was very delicious) and then for our appetizer a few of us shared a tomato, basil and mozzarella dish. Then, for the main meal - I had an amazing grass fed beef burger with a great tasting salad on the side. I'm pretty sure I shared an order of fries on the side, but didn't get a photo. All of the food was cooked in a very refined manner, so that you really enjoy it. We were here for quite a while enjoying each others company. Great evening.

Honestly hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had in a long time. Patrick was our server and he gave the best recommendations. Amazing service and pacing. The peach and corn soup was wonderful as was the shrimp and peach primavera. Every other entree and appetizer we had was amazing as well but those two stood out. For dessert the palisade peach Napoleon was fantastic. Again I cannot say enough wonderful things about Patrick. His service was outstanding and if we make our way back to Grand Junction we cannot wait to come back.

I gave 4⭐️ for their food bc the Duck a ‘la Peche that my husband ordered says crispy skin. Sadly there is no crispy in it. I ordered Yakitori style mushroom it’s actually good overall food and service is great.

Everything about this restaurant is perfection. Delicious food, amazing mocktails, incredible service. The ambiance was also so relaxing - not too loud at all, and perfectly lit. I cannot recommend this restaurant more, we loved it! We got drinks to start from the buzzless mocktail menu - cosmopolitan and espresso martini - 10/10. Then the tempura cauliflower, also 10/10. We ordered the Chilean sea bass and the mushroom asparagus enchilada and those were incredibly good, 10/10. Finished with the orange crème brûlée that was incredible as well. Overall, perfection.

This cozy restaurant had really nice romantic ambiance! They even accommodated a last minute extra guest and pushed the time of our reservation back. A friend had suggested this restaurant so I took my best friend for her birthday, which the restaurant helped to organize a personalized happy birthday menu with her name ending with sparklers on her truffles at the end of the night! We ordered the fried calamari with very interesting sauces, fried oysters (was slightly disappointed there weren’t fresh oysters offered), roasted beet carpaccio (the sea salt served in a little bowl rather on a spoon would have been preferred), the Waygu burger and the squid ink pasta (with delicious gochujang sauce). Overall the presentation of each entree/plate was beautiful, and the waiter (Josh) was a delight and very helpful in making our decisions on our food journey here! The drinks were also a smash and very delicious!

What an awesome find via google map search for Grand Junction restaurants! Such innovative, flavorful dishes for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike. And the staff was so wonderfully friendly and helpful, from our hostess who sat us to our waitress/bartender Amy B, who was such a great guide to their on menu (and offmenu) dishes. And she offered such great insight on the area’s fun activities and living in the Grand Valley (we’re looking to escape AZ and move to Colorado). We started with Spanglish flight which led us to very nice bottle of local wine, the Open Range red blend (Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc) from Sauvage Spectrum in next door Palisade, Colo. The Charcuterie - Plant Based board, with Mushroom Walnut Rillettes, was amazingly flavorful. Quite unique and wickedly tasty plant-based cheeses, with rich plant-based sausage that impressed this meat lover. The cool blend of flavors with addons of onion jam, coriander nuts and homemade strawberry jam was perfect start to the night. Amy mentioned the off menu item of local heirloom tomatoes with backyard basil and cheese was an ideal gift for this birthday celebration. So richly flavorful! Despite feeling stuffed to the max our entrees were even more perfect. My wife had the Arctic Char which she loved. This meateater passed on the delicious sounding Flatiron steak salad for the unique Yakitori Mushroom entree which was divine! We topped off with the 10yr old tawny port (Warre’s Otima) and the decadent Chocolate Marquis de Sade. A wonderful birthday celebration, made even more cool by the unique friendly folks we met at our next door table. In 2 months of traveling across Colorado, 626 on Rood is by far the best restaurant we’ve visited. The dishes are unique and richly flavorful, portions perfect sized and the staff super super nice. A wonderful eatery that is very rare in that it can be equally enjoyed by meatlovers, vegetarians, vegans and gluten free diners. Thanks for such a

I lived in Grand Junction in 2010 and we used to come to 626 all the time. I came back for my birthday and they made the day very special! I was happy to see that all of the things I loved about this restaurant remain the same. The food is delicious, creative, and elegantly presented with many plant-based options. The servers are attentive, but not overbearing. Every server I've ever had has been professional and knowledgeable about the menu. You don't see a commitment to service like this everywhere. The food is always delicious and 626 has been committed to farm-to-table, the slow food movement, and sustainability since the beginnings of those movements. They use herbs that they grow in their garden and local products whenever they can. The decor is classy and I've always loved the pre-Impressionism paintings that scroll on the bar TV. The values held by the owners and staff show. You won't be disappointed!

When I’m in the mood for a fancy night out in Grand Junction, 626 on Rood is always my top choice. Amy & Brittany’s expertly crafted cocktails are delicious, and the food never fails to impress with its freshness and outstanding quality. The service is equally remarkable—Kayla is fantastic and always remembers the small details about my orders and preferences. The elegant atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a special occasion or simply a treat-yourself evening. If you’re ever downtown, 626 on Rood is a must-visit. — eating deliciousness with Patti Kendall at 626 On Rood.

We went to 626 on Rood for a 50th birthday celebration. The staff, especially Brittany and Vanessa were so fun and accommodating. The food itself was amazing. We had the parmesan truffle fries which were unbelievable, the halibut, and the creme brulee. We also had specialty cocktails that were delicious. I would highly recommend!
